  • What hotel has been reserved? What are the rates?
    The official hotel for the 2013 NMEDA Conference is the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort. It is located at 100 North Atlantic Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida 32118 across from the Ocean Center. Reservations can be made by visiting their web site. The NMEDA group rate is Single/Double: $165.00.

    Can I make my hotel reservations now?
    Yes! You may book your hotel reservations directly on the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort web site.

    When will Conference registration open?  What are the registration rates?
    Pre-registration is now open. You may see the rates and register here.

    What does my registration fee include?
    Full registration fees include access to conference workshops/seminars on Wednesday through Friday, admission to the exhibit hall, all meals as well as the Awards Banquet on Thursday.

    Meals included are:  Breakfast and lunch Wednesday through Friday, all breaks as well as dinner at the Awards Banquet.

    Who can attend the Annual NMEDA Conference?
    The NMEDA Conference is open to ALL NMEDA members, as well as other professionals in the adaptive mobility industry, including: mobility equipment manufacturers and OEMs, mobility equipment dealers/installers, Vocational and Driver Rehabilitation Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists and other professionals who offer services to people with disabilities or to those who are otherwise involved in the industry.  The conference is NOT open to the general public/consumer, except for the Exhibit Hall on Friday. Please contact NMEDA (info@nmeda.org) with any questions or concerns regarding this policy.

    What is the dress code?
    We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your meeting experience!  Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged.  We suggest bringing appropriate dress for temperatures at or near 60-70 degrees. And don’t forget, it can be very chilly near the water! We recommend that you bring a light sweater or jacket to wear inside as meeting rooms are air conditioned. Keep updated on the latest Daytona Beach weather conditions at www.weather.com (using zip code: 32118).

    What night is the open evening for entertaining clients and exploring the Daytona Beach Area?
    There are no scheduled NMEDA events on Friday evening.  Have fun!

    Will all conference programming be held at the Hilton?
    Most NMEDA events will be held at the Ocean Center located directly across from the hotel. Any exception to this (including the ADED Pre-Conference Seminars and the Board Reception) will be posted inside the Hilton lobby prior to the scheduled events.

    Will I receive a confirmation of my registration?
    For registrations made online (by credit/debit card), you will receive an registration/payment confirmation instantly after submitting the order. A confirmation of your registration will be sent to via USPS within 7 business days after registering via phone/fax/mail. For registrations made with payment by check, please allow 7 days for processing; confirmation of registration will be sent via USPS after processing.  If you do not receive confirmation after 14 days, please contact the NMEDA office at 800-833-0427.

    Will I be refunded if I have to cancel my registration?
    We’ll be sorry that you won’t be able to join us for this exceptional learning and networking experience!  However, we understand that things happen, so if you simply can’t attend, please notify us in writing by January 28, 2013. Refunds will be processed less a $25 administrative fee. No refunds will be made after January 28, 2013 or for no-shows. Cancellations may be submitted via email to nmedamk@aol.com, via fax to 813-962-8970 or via mail to NMEDA, 3327 West Bearss Avenue, Tampa, FL 33618.

    Substitutions may be made at any time.  If you are unable to attend but someone else from your organization can come in your place, please notify us in writing via email at info@nmeda.org.
