Many original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) offer rebate assistance to customers when they purchase handicap accessibility products. Each NMEDA member manufacturer has their own program, all of which are listed below. Ford Mobility Program
Ford Mobility Motoring offers up to $1,200 of financial assistance toward the cost of the installation of adaptive equipment on a new Ford, Lincoln or Mercury vehicle. The program also offers Ford Credit Mobility Financing and comprehensive Roadside Assistance. GM Mobility Program with OnStar
Get up to $1,000 reimbursement ($1,200 on Chevy Express/GMC Savana vans) PLUS 2 extra years of the OnStar safety and security service when you buy or lease an eligible new GM vehicle (except Cadillac) and install eligible adaptive equipment (e.g., hand controls, scooter hoist, wheelchair lift).
